Company and individual growth is dependant upon developing all the requisite skills to maintain an expanding workforce. In my old company, one of our responsibilities was to select and support the development of our replacement prior to one’s promotion. In this modern age of ‘work from home’ I can envisage problems ahead for many businesses.

I think what I see is that, for whatever reasons, either structurally or other forces, the hats have been unbundled where you need to find the coach, mentor, facilitator, advisor all on their own and separated from from the dynamic of leader/employee or manager/employee.
